Siren Rock Falls Into Autumn with New Brews
Fest-Fest-Fest
As Siren Rock transitions away from the summer, we Fall fast into the Autumn season with New Brews, Brewery Festivals, and of course OKTOBERFEST!!
Brews, Beers, and Pints
Transitioning into a new brew team, we have a reinvigorated drive to experiment and bring forward some Siren Rock Classic Brews from year-one and some brand new brews we think will shape the way we think of a craft beer.
Starting with the “last hurrah” of summer we are releasing three more big batches of popular brews including, The Gritty Matador - Mexican Style Lager, bringing back an old favorite with the end of peach season, The Gentle Lover - Peach DIPA, and the final big batch of The Tilted Traveler - Oktoberfest Märzen Style Lager.
We recently experimented and released a more tangerine version of our Divine Monk - Belgian Witbier with wild chamomile called The Novice Monk, and that has gotten some interesting reviews. While some people may like/dislike this new flavor, we have been listening and the main consensus is that we need to have the original Divine Monk back and I am here to say that it is back and even better than before!
Along with the Divine Monk, we are bringing back a popular beer we released in April that came and left way too quickly called, The Bald Bastard - Hefeweizen. Hefeweizen is a type of weiss beer—German for “white beer.” Weiss beers are characterized by a strong presence of banana and clove, even vanilla or bubblegum, in the aroma and flavor. It is a very light, low bitter, refreshing beer that is a highly-requested style. I have been a part of Siren Rock Brewing Company since the beginning, and when I tell you that this beer came and went, I have never seen a beer run out of stock so fast. Now, I am happy to say that The Bald Bastard is here to stay on tap permanently.
The same way stores change styles of clothing with the seasons, we are changing our beer styles to match the season as well. Colder temperatures come with darker beers, such as stouts and porters, and cozy flavors, such as cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, chocolate, and coffee. A sneak peak into what Head Brewer Matt is working on regarding the seasonal transition is the introduction of a brand new brew, The Port Merchant - Baltic Porter.
The Season of the Fests
When September hits, so do all of the Festivals, and they hit HARD! We have been hard at work to release all the new brews stated earlier as well as a few more I haven’t described, and we are also entering peak festival competition season. A few coming up that you’ll see us at are:
Great American Beer Fest (Denver), Texas Craft Brewers Guild Festival (Austin), The Texas State Fair, BTX Brewfest (Burleson), Best Little Fest in Texas (Lewisville), and Dallas Brew Festival.
Along with the festivals, we have some Siren Rock events coming up that we are extremely excited to put on for you!
Starting with a Beer Pairing Dinner on Monday, September 18th from 6pm to 9pm here at Siren Rock Brewing Company. It’s an exclusive multi-course beer pairing dinner curated by our Head-Chef, Luis Reyes, in which each dish is thoughtfully designed to elevate and amplify the tasting experience of Siren Rock's finely brewed beverages.
We all love to party and some of the best parties of the year are coming up later this month and in October. As a brewery it would be dumb to not have an Oktoberfest Party, so we are throwing the BIGGEST Oktoberfest Party in DFW on September 30th with a themed food menu, stein-hoists (we are a qualifying location for the Texas State Stein Holding Championship), Dachshund races, live music, and so much more! So come test your stein-holding skills against the pros!
After celebrating Oktoberfest, you have a month to recover for our Halloween Party on October 28th. The theme for the party is Saints & Sinners, so listen to the angel and the devil on your shoulders because they both are telling you to come to Siren Rock fully dressed in costume!
And there we have it for the September TMAS (This Month At Siren). Between the start of the new beers, returning classic brews, festivals, and events, we have had a lot to take in and even more to come.
We will be raising our glasses to you and can't wait to see all of your faces in and out of the taproom.
Stay vibing my friends.
